You really have to believe in the tooth fairy, though, to believe that Lamborn - or his campaign organization - allowed a contribution check to sit around for six months (give or take a few weeks) without being deposited. Members of Congress are so desperate for all the money they can get that you would expect Lamborn to have deposited the check the day it came in, just so the donor couldn't change his mind. On a related subject, Jim, we know that neither party has a monopoly on integrity or dishonesty. It always seems to be the Republicans, though, who fall into the trap of claiming moral superiority. Then, when they take off their shoes and socks and display their feet of clay, it is the hypocrisy that does them in rather than the original transgression.
